About Sideline Scout

The basics of what we do and how we help.

Sideline Scout is an AI-powered concierge for tournament families. Ask it anything about your upcoming tournament — hotels near the fields, restaurants that seat large groups, parking strategies, weather forecasts, shade maps, and sideline gear rentals. It combines AI with real intelligence from parents who've been to those venues before.
Google gives you generic results. Sideline Scout gives you tournament-specific intelligence. Instead of "hotels in Annapolis," you get "the hotel 1.2 miles from the Naptown Lax fields where most teams stay, with the team rate." Instead of "restaurants near me," you get "the restaurant that seats 35, is 8 minutes from the fields, and you need to book by Thursday." The answers come from parents who've actually been to that tournament.
We're starting with youth lacrosse — it's the sport we know best and has a massive travel tournament circuit. We're expanding to soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, and hockey. The same problems exist in every sport: families travel, fields are unfamiliar, and everyone's asking the same questions.
We're currently in early access. Basic tournament intelligence will always be free. Premium features like personalized weekend plans, real-time updates, and priority gear rentals through Sideline Suites will be part of a subscription in the future.
From real tournament parents. Families who've been to a venue contribute tips about parking, restaurants, field conditions, shade locations, and more. Our AI combines this crowdsourced intelligence with public data about venues, hotels, weather, and restaurants to give you comprehensive, specific answers. The more families that use Sideline Scout, the smarter it gets.

Sideline Suites Gear Rentals

About the gear rental marketplace within Sideline Scout.

Sideline Suites is the gear rental marketplace within Sideline Scout. It connects traveling tournament families with local hosts near the venue who rent out sideline gear — tents, chairs, coolers, wagons, fans, and more. The host delivers to your field spot before the first game, sets everything up, and picks it up after the last whistle.
Common items include pop-up tents (10x10), folding chairs, large coolers, wagons, portable fans, and team benches. Availability varies by location — each host has their own inventory. When you tell Sideline Scout where you're going, it shows you what's available near that venue.
Pricing varies by item and host, but a typical weekend setup (tent + chairs + cooler) runs about $35-$60. That's a fraction of what it costs to check extra bags on a flight or buy cheap gear you'll throw away. Delivery, setup, and pickup are included.
Yes! If you live near a tournament venue and have sideline gear, you can become a host. You set your own prices, choose which weekends you're available, and handle delivery and pickup. It's a great way to earn extra income on tournament weekends while helping traveling families. We're onboarding hosts now — ask Sideline Scout for details.

Tournament Intelligence

How Sideline Scout knows so much about every tournament.

Our information comes from parents who've actually attended these tournaments, combined with real-time data about hotels, weather, and restaurants. We always note when information is based on past experiences vs. current data. As more families contribute, the accuracy improves — and we encourage you to share your own experience after each tournament to help the next family.
Ask anyway. Sideline Scout can still help with hotel recommendations, restaurant finding, and weather prep based on the venue location. You'll get less venue-specific intel (like shade maps or parking tips), but you'll still save time on the basics. And when you go, you can be the first to contribute intel for that tournament — making it better for the next family.
After a tournament weekend, Sideline Scout will ask about your experience. Share what you learned — parking tips, restaurant picks, field conditions, shade locations, or anything you wish you'd known before you went. Every contribution makes the platform smarter for the next family heading to that tournament.
We're actively building relationships with tournament directors. Directors can share official information like field maps, schedules, and venue details directly with Sideline Scout, which makes the experience even better for their families. If you're a tournament director and want to work with us, get in touch — we'd love to make your event the best-prepared tournament on the circuit.
